Pizzelles are always out at Christmas and around the table for all to enjoy. Sometimes they even come out in the summer, acting as a cone for ice cream.

6 Eggs
3.5 Cups Flour
1.5 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Margarine
4 Tsp Baking Powder
2 Tbs Anise
Directions
- Melt Butter
- Melt the butter into a sauce pan, adding in the anise.
- Create the egg mix
- Beat Eggs
- Add Sugar gradually
- Beat until smooth.
- Add the melted and cooled margarine mix
- Combine Dry Ingredients
- Sift Flour
- Add Baking Powder
- Combine All Ingredients
- Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients. The dough should be thick.
- Add to pizzelle or waffle maker and cook based upon the machine’s instructions.
